would they

and would they live with neon tetra

Never owned the fish but from what i have read they will not get very large at all and i believe they should be fine in a 15 gallon tank.. I also think they should be fine in a tank with neons or cardinals etc.. Run a search on google.. I have read that they are good with amazon swords if you have a planted tanks as they are amazon fish.

it depends if there a breeding pair id recoment maybe a 25gallon if not they should be ok. i wouldnt add anything else though....what are the tank dimentions?
dany

I breed mine in 10's-so yeah, I'd say it'd be OK as long as you are faithgful about clean water:)

The real rule for a German Ram is they will be fine in a 20 gallon. Depending on how many fish you have I can tell you if they will be or not. If 1 is male and 1 is female then i would say dont take the chance. They might breed and will need a bigger tank. If not then you should be fine in a 15 gallon as lonmg as you dont have to many fish and you do water changes every 5-7 days. Make sure your tank is well planted (prefarbally amazon sword's) because Rams always do better in a planted tank.
The topic says will Rams Out Grow a 15 Gallon Tank. They wont outgrow so if that is what you wanted to know you got your answer. They will be in stress (which WILL shorten their life) if you dont follow the things i mentioned above. O and btw you can keep artifical plants and they will do fine. Just have plants.
I hope that helps. If you need more information i can give you great links about Rams.
