Will Nutrafin Work With A Spiral Diffuser?

As the question says, will one nutrafin unit create enough pressure for a spiral diffuser to work properly?

Nutrafin will work with most of the smaller diffusors (ceramic disk size)

No experience with the spiro ones but I use Rhinox 2000 (which Tom and George also say are good) and although Aquatic Magic have changed their advert to say 'not suitable for use with yeast setups' (I bought mine when it said they were) It works a treat.

OK thanks! How long should it take to build up enough pressure?

Depends on many factors

Nutrafin kit or DIY
What mixture you use
The size of your ceramic disk
The length of hose etc.
The temp of the location of your bottle etc

If I remember rightly mine used to take about 1 hour to start producing bubbles and sometimes a day to be up to full speed (hence why we often use 2 kits overlapping so that one will still be in its peak while the other is slowing down or starting up.) this is of course for tanks of 120L or above.
