Will My Male Platy?

Hi there

I have now moved my 3 female platy to another tank as I do not want loads of fry, yet know they may give birth for up to 6 months yet.

My question is my 2 male platy were always squaring up to one another...and it was driving me mad...lol....will they be any different now the females are out? I hope so or I will have to seperate them into different tanks as they spoil the peacefulness of the tank flying about all over...!!!

Any reply would be appreciated.

I had seven males in a tank once, they got on fine.

There maybe little fights now and then but they are, afterall, community fish. So they should be just fine. If anything they were fighting over the females as it should 2 or 3 females to one male.

Ok thanks for the reply....hopefully then now the females have gone, there will not be as much bickering!
