I'm sure they would more prefer a ph around 7.4 but maybe yours will be hardy aggainst it, most are.

go lower mollys arnt as adaptable as guppys. but bring it down slowly.

You probably should lower it a little bit as a precaution. Mollies prefer their Ph in the mid 7's. If you can't lower it then you can leave it, just don't let it get any higher.
