Very odd thing just happened in my tank today. Three days ago I bought six red wag platys. Two males, four females. Today I look in the tank and something catches my eye. It's a very small, almost microscopic fish! I'm assuming one of the females was prego from the store and brought it here to deliver. Funny thing is, this one seems to be the only one in the tank. Anyways, wondering if it even has a chance of surviving? I watched it a while after discovery swim by a couple of the adults (I have just the six platys in a 75 gallon) and they did go after it but it got away. It will hide. I looked for it a bit ago and haven't found it. Thinking maybe one of the adults got to it but if not, what are it's chances and how long til it grows big enough not to get eaten? I don't have another tank so nowhere to move the adults and I don't even think I can get thie little guy to put it somewhere. It's a good bit smaller than the fry I have seen on the net. Basically all you see is two small eyes and a tail. It even tried to bite some of the flakes that were on the sandy floor of the tank. Will he make it?

Its touch an go, man. If you can get a divider and cut him off from everyone else until he is no longer bite-size, do so.

You can buy a breeder trap to put him in, or a divider. There is likely more fry in their, but their hiding! Good luck! =)
