I live in the UK, if I was to buy a fish from Aquabid, would I be heavily taxed? Is it the same with clothes and other items? Thanks.

Erm not sure about tax if all the sellers and trans shippers are not licensed you could get fined pretty badly, Im also not sure if its legal to ship fish into the UK but loads of other people know better than me

NO, As Long as you make sure the seller has a transhipper here in the uk who will handle this side of things.
I usually Buy from Ram_91 and he is already to ship direct to the uk without a transhipper. From Paying on Paypal,Western Union to delivery took less than 4 days, last time i had fighters off him.

I believe that as there appears to be no transhipper in the uk since Kevin Piper stopped transhipping, legally anyone importing into the UK from outside the European community must apply for an import license. As said before, you wont get taxed, but if the Customs people are having a blitz on fish and decide to check out the importer you could get heavily fined, along with the exporter.

There is a german transshipper who seems to cover most of the EU for the major good breeders in thailand. Shipping was £100+ plus his fee so I don't think its worth it.
