will guppy mate with another one

I just got a female guppy to reproduce with my male guppy. My female guppy is about 2 inches and my male is twice it's size. My male guppy is only interested in the platies..

Criminintly, how did you ever get a male guppy that big I've got gorgeous mature breeding male guppies but none are four inches long! 2 inches maybe. I'm sure curious about him. What type is he? What colouring?

My mommas must be 3-4 inches easy. Maybe he'll realise he's got a sweet young thing when she matures abit? She sounds abit young yet by her size. Hope all goes well for you. I figure male guppies are interested in anything female! Hang in there and good luck.

Guppies will mate with anything.

Being your male is so large, are you shore he deffinotly a guppy, I never seen any female the size you say let alone males.

sounds like the femail might b too young. the pic you posted dosnt seem to show up. looks like only half the photo is there?

EDIT: dont worry when shes redy they will have babies i promise!
