Just curious.
A little over 6 months ago I added 25 microdevario kubotai to a 20G. The only other inhabitants are dwarf chain loach. There are some otos and possibly MTS if the loaches have not managed to kill them all.

Today I have almost double that number, an accurate count is impossible because they are hyperactive and there are plently of plants and wood for them to dart behind. Well tonight I noticed that the frogbit roots are covered in eggs. The loaches don't go to the top to feed so the only predators are the adults and I have no doubt I will soon have more. Will the reproduction rate slow as the tank becomes (more?) overcrowded or should I be looking to move some into the big community tank?

I cant say if it will slow but you should definitely have a plan for if it gets overrun :)
