Do dwarf puffers eat the common pond snails (lymnea stagnalis) or is it the tropical pest snails?

Do dwarf puffers eat the common pond snails (lymnea stagnalis) or is it the tropical pest snails?

They should, that's what my soon to be mother in law has and they eat them but make sure the snails don't get to large or the puffer could choke on them.
