Will dojo loaches eat snails?

So for a while now I’ve been wanting to get a snail to keep the algae down in my tank. I have 5 dojo loaches and I have heard some things that they ether eat them or they don’t. Which one do they do?

Botias will eat snails.

If you have an algae problem, either reduce light or add more live plants.
