Will Angels Be Ok

hi, i currently have a 34 gallon tank that is quite tall with 10 platties and 2 sucking loaches. i have recently took a fancy to angels and want to know if they will be ok with my other fish,if so how many would i be able to house safely in my tank and would i be better off with same sex fish. thanx for any help

Angels will be fine in your setup, you can proly have one (depending on filtration) but you tank can take up to three full grown, but maybe you should also say what filtration you have, as this can have an effect on the load of fish you can have,

you can tell the sex of an angel easily, you proly would just have to buy two from the lfs and thats it,

There is no preference in either sex and if you just buy two from the fish store, chances are small that they will be opposites sex. Have fun with them

With any 2 angels you have a 50% probability of both being the same sex, or having one of each sex.

I wish it would be more like 50 50 out here by me. I once got 6, they all turned out to be females, kinda weird
