I'm thinking of buying an Ancistrus catfish but I've got a planted tank and I'm a little concered that it will scoff all my plants . How likely is this?
Any experiences?
I have no problems with Ancistrus cats eating plants .they tend to go for the parts that are soft and starting to rot but this can be discouraged by feeding them scalded lettuce leaves cucumber and shelled peas...leave in the tank for 24 hours only or apples and pears........leave for only six hours at a time as they can cause the water to go acidic if left any longer
