Will A Male Betta Kill A Male Guppy?

hi there i have a tank which only has neons in it, i know male bettas are ok with tetras but what about male guppies?
anyone on here keeping bettas with guppies?

You can't keep Bettas with male guppies as they will end up getting attacked and/or killed. Bettas mistake guppies because they are similar and see them as a threat so will just end up having a go at them.
To be honest, if you want a Betta then you are best getting a small tank to keep him in there on his own.

I had a male betta with neons, he killed them overnight.

Bettas dont like brightly coloured fish for the most part.
Of course there are exceptions but I wont keep my male with brightly coloured fish, or fish with big flashy tails.

If you've got the room for a little tank then set one up just for a fighter, they're well worth it!
I have four 5g tanks that each house a Betta and they look beautiful.

I feed mine bloodworm, daphnia and flake food.

5 Gall tanks are pennies, you could do that with a fighter, some cories and it be great

I agree with DarkEntity, a 5g tank would cost very little. I have a couple of Ottos in one of my fighter tanks and they are fine.
