That depends on things like the other fish in there, the size of the tank and whether they would tolerate the other inhabitants. What's the setup like?

I put her in earlier, she seems to be keeping her self to her self, I have 3 mollys and 3 platys all of which are a LOT bigger than her, I also have 4 corys. and some molly fry which are about 2cm. Have a very big plant in there not sure of the name but its got lots of hiding spots in it, got lots of bogwood and a small plant pot on its side shes a beautiful little fish, The shop had them lined up on the top in icecream tubs I couldent believe it, I saw her first and she was just on her side looking so sad, she looks brighter already. I just wanted to make sure she wont have a go with the mollys or platys!!! haha

The treatment bettas are given in some stores is awful, they are fish just like tetras, barbs, discus, etc. It's such a shame How large is the setup?
