We have these shrimp around here, are they good to be fed to fish? You know, those shrimp you can boil and come with seafood packs?Just an occasional tasty treat at the weekends...always save one for the fishes![]()
They're fine to feed but I only leave it in the tanks for 20 mins or so. Just one lightly boiled shrimp, slightly squished, attached to a piece of line and I move it from tank to tank. Be carefull not to over feed... always keep them hungry for more !We have these shrimp around here, are they good to be fed to fish? I think I've been overfeeding for years though. Or in case of this tank, months. (or maybe years still counts, as that hoplo used to get half a bloodworm cube daily for 9 years, in addition to dried daphnia). They're fine to feed but I only leave it in the tanks for 20 mins or so. Sorry to hear that, did the new female bring a disease to your tank ?I lost a tank of wild type guppies when I introduced a new female. :C I still have a male and a female that need homes though since I'm going to college. Do you know where I could find someone interested in breeding them? If not my LFS is willing to take them.
