Thanks Guys, they are taken with a Pentax Optio330GS its only 3.2 Megapixel but it is a great little camera.

It could well be Ladybird Larvae as it was on the Clematis which is normally crawling with Ladybirds.

Number 1 is a baby ladybird cherish it. I adore ladybirds, we must have 1000 ladybirds in different forms in our house, toys, ornaments, fridgemagnets, pens etc etc etc so sad

I am pretty sure that is a Giant House Spider and the other spider is a Garden Spider

Yep house spider is my vote (tegenaria gigantea).
