Wild Habitats

Most certainly. But sometimes the natural habitat is so bleak or harsh, you might not like to have an aquarium at home that looks that way :)
For example a lot of habitats would be muddy or filled with algae.

So I try and create an environment that is a cleaner version (for me).

Is it just me or would anyone else just LOVE to see somefish like bettas or tiger barbs in their natural habitats? :*)

I would! I can just imagine how cool it would be to dangle my feet in the water and watch little cory cats come up and nibble on my toes!

... or a Bristlenose... to 'rasp' the dead skin off!... yuk!

I was hoping people would put a few pics of some fish in their wild habitats coz you dont really see it do ya!
But that gave me another thought.
Just imagine having a huge lake (instead of a tank), with a jetty going towards the middle, filled with your favourite tropical fish

And to go scuba diving to go and say hello.

i dont think you will be able to see betta in their natural water that well
Thats true :) The more brightly coloured the fish, the more likely that they live in murky waters.... I am not including marine fish here ;)

Only fish I've seen in their own habitat is the ones in the sea when I'm on holiday! It was great being able to sit on a few rocks and feed the fish a bit of bread from your fingers! Even better was when I went scuba diving although didnt see half as many fish! Only other fish that I've seen are guppies in ponds when abroad too but thats the most tropical I've seen and I wouldnt exactly call it their own habitat!
