A few pics of my cichla ocellatus. They just arrived and are a little stressed. They average 7-8".

Big tanks are not an issue!!!!

Have plenty of tanks space for these as well as the Cichla monoculus and orinos I am growing out.

Eventually they will be big enough to house with my 24" tiger shovelnose and O. niger!!!

Wow - you're dead lucky, those are beautiful fish ;)

I've always wanted a red tailed catfish but will never in my lifetime have a tank big enough for one

Just a question cichlidmaster..... with big tanks you need for your fish, Do you buy your other furniture to fit in between your tanks? Haha :p

They look like bass almost! Did i mention that im a cook? I do a kickin spicy mango sauce :good: Give me a call when they get big enough, A few pints........some wild cichla with spicy mango sauce! We'll have a good old time! :p

Very nice CM, true occellaris are getting a bit thin on the ground these days with all the hybrids coming out of the far east, almost all have a bit of monoculus in them. Any pics of the orinocos?

All you need now are some temensis and azuls and thats one nice p bass collection.

CFC,

No pics of the orino yet. Just got them in yesterday and they are still settling. They are small 2.5-3". unfortunately one arrived DOA so only have two, but have a line on the same from another source so I may bring a few more in.

I am also growing out several monos. I am waiting for a good deal on some decent size tems as well.

Will try to post pics of the monos and orinos soon.

As far as space....all tanks are in my basement so space is no issue either!!!!!

For those of you who don't know me....I was in the fish biz and had over 135 stock tanks in my basement!!!!

Currently they are in a 6' x 18" x 20" (120 gallon) tank.

I have several 180 gallon tanks I am in the process of setting up for the Pbass.

I have plans by the summer to upgrade for them. Not sure if I'll go with an 8ft or 10ft tank tho.

As I said, I am no longer in business. My ex-partner bought me out, but I do have pics of the shop....somewhere.

I will take a look for them and post them.
