No!!!!!!!! I called in today, adn they said no krib's came in!!!!! They have plenty of krib's already, but their male's!!!!!!!! Should i get a male or 2 now adn wait for female's? Or hope on getting a wild pair? Or give up on kribs?

Tbh Kribs and the general beginner Cichlids are mostly tank bred, although you can get wild caught ones, i just dont see the point when we have sustainable tank bred specimens.

So, do you think i should get like a male, adn then wait for a female to come in? Or 2 males? Or should i give up on trying to get a female?

Kribs are like humans, (most humans) 1 male to 1 female. But they have to take up as a pair, not just a male and female.

I know, but do you think i should wait for up to 4 weeks for a female, or ditch the project and try again later?

Id ditch and wait untill the day comes that you just wonder in and see a wild male and female pair, surprises are always more fun and less hassle ;)

I did ditch it, instead i bought:
a container of O.S.I. cichlid flake
1 male Blue Ram Cichlid : http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...p;#entry1848603
1 bunch of plants
2 things of Frozen BBS for my baby convict's!

It will be impossible to get a wild pair from there as they have problems getting rid their 7 males kribs. Their used to be way more like around 20, but i guess they sold them! There are some really spectacular one though! Do you think i could put a pair of TANK raised krib's in with 2 eam's? Note: The ram's will be in there first!
