wild blue minnows

does anyone know about any blue minnows. there are some in ponds near our town, We would like to get some and keep them as pets in our 29 gallon.

would they need a filter? I know the pond only has plants, but it does have wind to make a current.

also, would rosey red minnows be okay with these wild blue minnows?

the problem with taking fish from the wild is that you could bring disease into your tank and affect the other inhabitants. i dont know what fish they are so i hope someone can help you.

did you know that it is easier to maintain a larger tank than a smaller one because there is more water.
