Okay I'm not sure what these things are but they are all over the sides of my tank and I'm not sure how they got there. I haven't added any new fish or plants for months but these little critters just poped up! A few days ago one of my fish got ick and I was treating the tank for it, now all of a sudden there are thses things all over the place! they weren't in my tank yesterday, or at least I could not see them :(

THe criters are white, small and worm like, they are slightly transparent too... I'm trying to get a picture of them now, but I have to go to class soon. I wont be back till 12:30 hopefully someone knows what I'm describing so I can make a trip to the fish store and hopefully get something to get rid of them!

Edit to add
I know someone will ask so I thought I would add: the spots on one of my fish that I formetioned earlyer was deffinatly ICH I started treating the tank for it four days ago, but now I have these little parisites running around the tank. they where not in the tank yesterday so I'm unsure of where they came from.

Thank you! yes that is what they are! ugg if it isn't one problem its another! I thought I was doing a good job cleaning my tank but apparently not! I'll set to work right away and see what I can do...

So according to that article I just vacuum my gravel really well once a day, up the salt and add Quick Cure till there gone?

My tank still has an ick treatment left, if I add Quick Cure will the two conflict with each other?

Just feeding less and a good regular vacuum should sort the problem :) They are harmless to the fish and usually a sign of over feeding (or uneaten food).

Once they are gone, a regular once a week vacuum and water change should keep on top of things.
