The male black molly in my tank has white, skin-like substances on his body. It looks like the skin the african dwarf frog pulls off when molting, but kinda fuzzy looking. Help!

Fungus? Ich? They're treated differently. Can you get us a picture? Is it more fuzzy or dot-like? You should separate out that fish into a quarantine tank if you have one available.

Dose it look like cotton wool?

As it sounds like a fungal infection.

Myxazin is good, but and malicate based treatment will work.

try to get a pic. u 100 percent sure its a black molly because it could be a marble molly

might be fungus, it's best if you can post a pic, also, are you adding salt to the tank? If not are you keeping it very clean?

It's more like fuzzy stuff, like cotton. I think it's a black molly, that is what the fish plate thing at Petsmart said. I can quarantine it in a fishbowl, and also add salt. I'll also do a water change. How much salt should I add to a 10 gallon tank? Besides the mollies, there is a betta, two african drawf frogs, and a few ghost shrimp. As for the picture, I will try to get one. Thanks for the help : ).

There are fungus medications available at your local fish store. Two tablespoons in a ten gallon if the Molly is in the tank alone, but those other inhabitants are not going to like the salt.
