How come whenever i see an all cichlid tank they seem extremely overstocked!!

Is the stocking rate any diff. for cichlids??


Or maybe its just me!!!!!!

With African lake cichlids it is recommended that you overstock rather than understock, in order to keep down aggression problems (which is totally different from how you deal with many other aggressive fish). Obviously, you then have to lay on the extra filtration to deal with the stocking rates.
