hi well i spawned my betta fenikksus and of caurse spawning is stressful for them he then developed white spot i have been treating him for 4 days now with waterlife protazien white spot and anti fungal treatment i have on day of treatment left which is not tomorrow but the next day

dosage frequency: days 1,2,3,4&6 but not five he is in a hospital tank which has not heater but a filter which evedently heats the aquarium as well should i put him in my community tank where i can up the temp im worried ill infect the other fish

advice would be great also i have no moneys so cant got and buy stuff i can only afford fin rot treatment

You really do need to raise the temperature but whatever you do DON'T put him in your community tank! If the filter in your hospital tank also heats the water then it should have an adjustment on it somewhere so that you can change the temperature, have a good look. Ideally you want to slowly raise the temperature up to about 28 or 29C. That has two effects it speeds up the life cycle of the ich and also the ich can't survive at that temperature when it's in its free flaoting stage. That combined with the Protozin will wipe it out. If you really can't adjust the temperature get a new heater, you should be able to get one for five or six quid off ebay as you only need a small one.
 
hi yeh the only ajustment it has is water flow which then heats the water but of cause bettas hate fast flowing water :( after this i have no other heater tbh i spawned him and didnt expect him to become ill with ich or velvet so of caurse i used the heater for the fry :blink:
