Sometimes you have to be persistent with them Timmy - if it's not what they've been used to recognising as food, then it may take them a little while to get used to it.
When I first started feeding veggies (courgette and peas mainly) to my community tank, everyone but the shrimp would turn their noses up at it and then peer at me in disgust.
I kept persisting and found that the best time to get them interested, not surprisingly, was just after they'd fasted for a couple of days! Ha!
I defrost the peas by sitting them in warm water, squeeze them to take the skin off and then chop them into small pieces. The courgette gets cut into thickish slices and then microwaved in some water for about 30secs, then I nick the skin in a couple of places and use a lead weight to sink it in the tank.
You could also try making your own frozen food mix. For my BW fish, I buy a pack of ready to eat seafood cocktail with no additives, stick it in the food processer with a courgette and then roughly blend it, so there's still some little chunks. Then I spread it on the back of a baking tray and freeze it, then break it up and store it in a food bag. The BW fish love this mix.
This recipe might be too high in protein for your FW fish though. Although you could always invent your own!
You neons, corys and plec in particular should learn to love veggie food. Good luck.
