I was in Petco today, and after catching my own fish (lol 
) the guy was writing the prices up, and this guy walked up to me and asked me what size tank I had. I thought that he was asking me this because I was buying a baby pleco... but... he opened a container to show me 5 (I think) GORGEOUS angel fish that he was GIVING AWAY FOR FREE because he was moving to Bakersfield!!! Aaaargh!!! Why couldn't I have had a spare tank for them?!?! He had bought them from a breeder when they were babies and now they are about 3 inches in diameter. He ended up giving them to PETCO for free!!! *sigh* Okay, I feel better now... just had to vent. 
If anyone in the Santa Clara area wants to rescue some GORGEOUS angel fish, just go to the Petco on El Camino Real. Even if you're quite a ways away, the trip would be VERY worth it.
