yay first post since comming back of holiday.....came home and the cichlids have dug holes everywhere in the tank what are they doing!? One of the holes is quite inventive....theres a piece of bogwood which is like and archway in front of a rock and they have dug under the rock..so now they swim through the archway and down under the rock looks pretty good!

2 of my yellow labs sorta circle each other and one does a shaky thing...is this breeding or agressive behavior? all the fish seem to use the hole thou....oh well they must be happy digging there holes so ill leave them to it!

Rearranging the tank is actually normal Mbuna behaviour  . They love to dig and move things around, particularly when you've just got everything how you like it.

The 2 labs circling each other and "shaking" is normally a sign of agression, generally 2 males trying to decide who's top dog (fish). Very common and nothing to worry about unless this display turns into mouth fighting on a regular basis.
