the tank is a 2.5 gallon planted, lighted, heated, filtered, co2 injected betta tank.

my plants were thriving, and i mean thriving with hardly any yellow leaves but i just got home from work and i see my plants drooping like crazy. i put some ghost shrimp in there about a week ago and i cant seem to find them... could dead ghost shrimp be ruining the water quality? could something be wrong with the co2 injection? can anyone give me some ideas of what this could be without me having to test my water...thanks

Well, dead ghost shrimp isn't likely. You'd see algae, not dying plants. Have you checked the temperature?

wow really? i pretty much settled on the dead shrimp as the problem. i haven't checked the temperature but when i was taking the plants out i felt it and it felt fine. i am really blown away, i mean this tank was loaded with plants... and now theyre all dead.

I have never, under varying conditions, had problems with wisteria. How cold is your water?

well its a betta tank so the water wasn't cold at all. it was probably around 74f. the wisteria was doing amazingly well, in fact the entire tank was full of it, it was starting to get really crowded... then it just died.. along with most of my other plants.

You haven't dosed any meds recently that might have contained copper, have you?

I take it the CO2 is DIY injected? How are you diffusing it?
What ferts are you dosing and how often?
What is your water change regime? (when, how much)
How long is the light on for?
