my molly looks really patchy ..white patches but not fungal ..no salt in tank as i have a pleco in there too .Note the white band around the tail and the patch under her eye.She also looks patchy all over especially on fins and under belly

Do the patches look slimey or fluffy, need water stats in ammonia, nirite, nitrate, and ph.
Any signs of the fish in the tank flicking and rubbing on objects, or laboured breathing.

She does seem to be rubbing a bit and also shimmying(looks like dancing) and is pooing thick white grey stuff .she is also hiding more than usual ..will do stats now

Try some shelled peas on her for a few days, is she shimmering in position, check the gills to see if they have mucas on them, look pale, or red and inflamed.

is that peas cooked and shelled?
she si shimmering but still swimming around as usual.
no mucus ..only white patches ..looks a bit like her black coating has come off if that makes sense..her gills when open look white inside..just done 20% water change so will do stats later when its settled ..also added a little salt .2 tablespoons for a 50 gallon tank ...little bit only cos of the pleco

It sounds like the white patches with the flicking could be a parasite.

and the meds they suggest for shimmies will also help with the parasite.

The only meds i have in are anti internaLl bacteria and anti fungus both interpet but didnt want to start the anti internals yet as it has only been about three days since i used antio fungus although i have done everal partial water changes since then .should i put molly on her own and perhaps treat her with this ..what do you think

White patches can mean poor water quality, parasites or bacteria infection, plus you say she been flicking so it could be poor water quality or parasites.Yes put her on her own for now and see how she goes, i would get them waterlife meds it suggest, good luck.
