Why Is Does My Fish Food Contain Zeolite?

i was just looking at the ingredient label on one of my fish foods...and it contains zeolite.
i checked all of the other labels and none contain zeolite.
anyone heard of this?
does it reduce ammonia in the fish's waste? (im guessing no...)

There's a lot of different kinds of zeolite, they're basically minerals, like manganese, potassium. iron, sodium...perhaps, it has something to do with keeping it moist (I notice it's a soft food?), or maybe so it doesn't smell.
