Well I have had a pretty awful couple of weeks and I nearly quit the hobby but have decided to give it one more go. In 2 weeks I have lost a pair of marble motoros and my tigrinus catfish all adding up to near £1k worth of fish if bought from a lfs. I am absolutely gutted the rays didn’t travel well and suffered bad stress and is one of them things and my tig got killed by my aro, the aro also in the same week ripped the fin of my flag tail, bit my eel, attacked the heater and internal filter hence it being on AC now. Here are some pics of my recent deaths pretty gutting by no means.

The marbled motoro pair:

Wow Mark I'm totally gutted for you, the tig was growing really nicely too, where were you moving the rays to?

I am really sorry Mark. Those were some awesome fish, but things happen sometimes. I wish you the best of luck in getting things back together and I look forward to seeing you on here again. :good: :flowers:

i feel for you mate, those were some stunning rays too.

Will you be starting with a new species alittle less pricier?

Thats totally bone mate, dont give up though, just eat the aro and have the rays stuffed as a momento :good:

That sucks but I'm glad to see you're moving on from it.

Good to see you posting lots on here again too :good:

sad shame about the loss of youre fish mate.

If i was you i would get rid of that aro if it aggressive towards other fish and killing them i would of got rid a while ago imo.

As the above, thats a real pity. You had any problems with the aro in the past?

As opposed to living corpses..? :sly: [/quote]
LOL, sorry but that is funny.

The rays look like they were in bad water. They have pink bellies.

Sorry about your loss.
