Well if its any consolation i went away for a week last year and had everything set up perfectly, lights on timers, ferts all dosed for the week, CO2 set up correctly etc etc, all ready and set up.........anyway went away for the week and on my return i realised i forgot to turn on the lights, so the tank was in darkness for the whole week!!

I felt like a right tulip, the best laid plans and all of that, mind you it didnt do the plants any harm at all, they bounced back within a day and looked as good as ever.

You could always do a DIY setup for the time you are away.......just an idea.

It's only a couple of nights, will just turn the lighting down a bit.

Not a disaster, just an annoyance.
