What are some possible causes of fish losing their colors? One out of two of our harlequin rasbora's triangle is turning a slight grey color instead of the usual black. We recently added some overhead lights, but the other rasbora seems to be fine.

This is a 20 gallon tank with 2 rasboras (more coming) and 3 platies. Mostly fake decoration, but a group of real Amazon Swordtails I think they're called. Gravel vac twice weekly, good air, 0/0/5 NH3/NO2/NO3.

Any ideas?

How are your rasboras otherwise? Is he curious and swim up to see you?

I just want to know rasbora behaviour before I possibly get some. Thanks

Hard to say since we don't have a large school of them like you're supposed to. They mainly keep to themselves, ignore humans. When we gravel vac, and large particles (old food) get sucked up, they try and eat them through the vacuum. Pretty funny to watch.
