My poor plants have bite marks on them. I have three little clown loaches, 1 angel (doubt he’s doing it), 3 otots and guppies in this tank. I’m thinking it’s the clowns. How can I get them to stop? :)

I'd have said it's the clowns....My clowns do the same.... have u put some cucumber etc in there 2 deter them at all? I find it's the only way 2 move their attention!
I could b wrong though! :look:

I tried to give them some zucchini the other day and they didn’t touch it. Maybe I’ll get some peas.

I thought it would be useful like more hardy plants.

Ohh. I see. The plants they are eating are my swords. The wide leafed variety. I don’t think they’ve touched the wisteria or grass.

I also have wide-leafed plants and clown loaches, and the same thing happens to me. Clown loaches seem to take great pleasure in punching holes in wide-leafed plants (for me, my amazon swords). They don't eat the plants, so providing vegetable matter for food won't help. By putting wide-leafed plants in your tank, you are providing your clowns with a toy. :D

My ottos do the same thing too, nearly ruined my val! So it could be either the clown loaches or the ottos. :dunno:
