I bought 3 mollies the other day and they all had their fins completely shredded and then they died the next day. My question is, which of my fish is most likely doing this to them?

I have the following:

3 Parrot fish
1 Angel
1 Red tail Botia
1 Pleco
1 Rosey Barb
1 Geophagus Surinemesis

Thanks!

parrot fish arent usually known as community fish with mollies

id say it was them

How can the Parrot fish shred the mollies fins if the Parrot fish can't bite?

tbh the stocking isn't the greatest and I reckon the tank size is probably not adequate enough either,

Parrot are big and can get aggressive when mature
The temperament of Angels can differ greatly
Red tailed Botias are one of the most aggressive botia species and can easily rip through fins, They also are worse when not kept in a group
Rosey barbs are shoalers and when kept on their own will become aggressive and nip fins
Geophagus aren't aggressive but get big
