I just purchased 4 angels and seven neons. I have a three foot tank, and it i have numerous ammounts of guppies and platies, a swordtail, 4 clown loaches, a knife fish, two bristle nose catfish and, 4 bronze cory doras . Who do you think consumed three of my neons? :(

a knife fish hmmmmm
ur also way overstocked and under tank size for some of those fish

Either the angels or the knife, depending on who is bigger. Angels can open their mouth's larger than you think, an adult easily eats a full grown neon.

actually i hear neons are in an adult anglefish's wild diet. if they are adults it is quite possible that your angles have gobbled them up. but your knife fish and catfish could easily do that same given that opertunity.

I agree guppydude angels eat neons in the wild. Saying that I have 2 angels and they have never touched my young guppies or platies.

The angels are almost certainly guilty. One of mine lives with my livebearers and is actually fat from eating endler and platie fry! :X The other I have lives with the smallest fish being lady bettas and he doesn't touch them at all. He's considered part of the family, just bigger and the wrong shape.
Suprisingly the angel in with the endlers doesn't touch the adults. And the endler adult males are easily small enough to be gobbled. I suspect it's only because there's so many fry which are far easier targets.
Hugs,
P.
