help my clown loach and 2 other fish have white spot, i am going to dash to lfs tomorrow and get treatment, any other tips???

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Raise temp to 30 and increase aeration.
Read med instructions that you can use the full dose with the fish you keep.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.

chilid called spike

nitrate lowest on test strip 0.3mg/l
ammonia lowest on test strip,0. mg/l
havent tested ph or nitrite

temperature is 26 at mo, turned up

Clown loaches need large tanks as they get bigger 90 gallons. Shouldn't be kept in less than a group of 3.
The red tailed black shark needs a 40 gallon tank.

I would read med instructions carefully as some meds you have to half dose with clown loaches.

clown loach is 10 years old which was given us, red tail shark is newbie

He will be a big fish then so he really needs a big tank so he can move about.
Plus clown loaches don't like it on there own they really should be kept in groups.

he is 4 " and thinks he is a catfish cos spends most of his time in the drain pipe with rapheal catfish... odd we call him dog

Could have stunted growth then.
Might of made friends with the catfish as they don't like being alone.
Sounds cute both fish in the drain pipe.
I would maybe think of finding a home for the clown loach as he really deserves to be in a bigger tank and be in a group of clown loaches instead of being on his own.
