HI

I HAVE A SMALL CLOWN LOACH IN MY TANK THAT HAS DEVELOPED WHITESPOT. I HAVE BOUGHT SOME MEDICATION TO AD TO THE TANK. ITS MADE BY JBL AND THE LIQUID ITSELF IS BRIGHT BLUE. I HAVE READ THE DESCRIPTION AND INSTRUCTIONS, BUT IM SLIGHTLY WORRIED ABOUT ADDING IT TO THE TANK, IT IS GOING TO TURN THE WHOLE TANK BLUE?? IS THIS NORMAL?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

TOM

It will probably turn the tank blue, yes and yes, that's normal. The colour will fade as the treatment goes on.

Do be careful adding meds with scaleless fish like loaches, as they can react badly to it. Check the bottle, it should say if it's ok to use with them or not, and keep an eye out for any signs of distress, in which case you'd need to do a large water change to get rid of the meds.
