You need to give us more info on your set up
What fish do you have
Size of tank
whats the temperature
how often do you do water changes
how much in water changes
do you use/own a gravel vac
what temperature is the water
what have you done so far for the ich
how long have they had ich

hi they have had it since tuesday night well thats when we first noticed it, we have platys, guppy, neons, bottom feeders ,pleco, molly, we have a 3ft tank the temp is on 80
we do a water change once a week and do a 30% change and we use a gravel cleaner,
many thanks smoggy

Ich hates high temperature so turn the heater up to 84f and do a third of the tank in a water change each day. Its important you go through the gravel with a gravel vac each water change as the cycts fall off the fish and burst open in the gravel.
Add some ich meds after 4 days if theres no improvement. When you see no more spots it doesnt mean its gone, keep going with the high heat for at least 4 days after the spots have gone.
Also add extra oxygen via a pump to help them breathe

hi thanks for that just done a water change so wait now until sunday to put more treatment in many thanks for the help but i am possitive it came in from a fish we just bought from pets at home many thanks smoggy
