Whitespot Gourami

Ok ive had white spot in my tank for about a week or so, raised temp and used medication but i still lost all my neon tetras, i have a male dwarf gourami that still has it a bit, today i have bought a hospital tank which measures 18 x 10 x 10 inches with filter, heater, air pump and air stone. I also have a bristlenose catfish which has so far shown no signs of whitespot infection.

My question is should i move my gourami to the hospital tank and dose it again with meds? should i move both fish so i can dose them both better? should i move the catfish there and then dose the main tank again and use salt also?

yeah im going to do a water change in a bit and then i think i will need to run carbon pad as i have dosed for whitespot twice already and now ive got a new treatment thats better. How long is the minimun to run a carbon pad?

Ifn it new a month no point in wasting it.
