Uuuuuuugh...
I'm not sure what it is but my poor remaining cories have it on them.
It's a white film on some of their body.
The green cory has gotten this before numerous times.
It goes away, and comes back, then goes away and comes back.
I had thought it might be columnaris, but treating with the meds I have never works.
I've used maracyn 1 & 2, and triple sulfa.
So I'll do a water change (which I do every other day if I'm not medicating)... and the stuff will be gone.
Then like 4 days later, it's back again.

What the heck am I dealing with?
I'm about to go do another water change (did one yesterday) b/c that seems to be the only thing that works.

No the tank isn't cycled. It's the Q/H tank so meds usually end up killing the bacteria which is why I do so many water changes to keep ammonia down.

Any help would be great.

It may be your cories trying to adjust to the tank parameters. Since you say it is not cycled they may be shedding their skin because it makes them feel sick. This happened before to a friend of mine. He had panda cories and their tank was not fully cycled. They started shedding their protective outer coating. We didn't realize it until we noticed their water quality was not top notch. So that may be your problem with the tank not being cycled.

Wow.. I didn't know they could even do that.
Hopefully our 28gal will finish cycling in about a week so they can go back to a nice established tank.
Hate seeing them this way.. specially since the betta with them has bonded with them.

I just did a water change... about 60%. Guess I'll try doing smaller water changes every day and see if that will help them while they're in the tank if what you said is what is happening to them.
