Hi everyone i came home from the weekend and feed my fish and i just seen 2 of my fish ot white spots. what can i do with them now. i dont want my baby fish to get it Thanks for your help. im worried about them now. first time i seem them like that

You should raise the temperature slowly though a degree at a time. You can use the heat-salt method, or depending on your fish you may need to use medication or just the heat method because they don't do well with salt.
Also make sure to do thorough gravel vacs to pick up the cysts of white spot that are falling off the fish into the gravel. I urge you to do some research on the cycle of the ich parasite.

hi claire put your heater up to 30 c for 2 weeks this will kill the white spot.

hi if that kills the white spots what about my garvel? i will have two do that dont i? but i have change my water last week tho. so i dont need to do it again do i? i could go fish shop in the morning and talk to them cant i

Do not delay - get WATERLIFE PROTOZIN.

Just coming out of an ich situation myself, temp was elevated to 29 degrees celsius but I still lost 4 fish because they were completely savaged by the infection. Not nice.

Dose accurately, the treatment requires four doses in total over 6 days costs between £4-5.

Hi i test my tank and its has got two much nitrite and my general hardness is high. what is general hardness. can anyone help me please thanks

General hardness just means your water has a lot of dissolved minerals in there. It is not something you need to really worry about. These minerals are needed in your tank, they are important for the health of your fish, as well as for buffering the ph. If your tap water has very high Gh and Kh you may want to stock your tank with fish that like that kind of water. I think most cichlids would do well!

Your Nitrites however are something to worry about. If you don't have a liquid test kit to tell you a more accurate reading, then it would be advisable to get one. Having high Nitrite readings means that your tank is not yet cycled, or has lost its cycle. Any time you have more than 0 Ammonia, and/or 0 Nitrite you need to regularly check those and do a lot of water changes (with dechlorinated water) to keep those as close to 0 as you can.

Fish get stressed living in those kind of conditions and are more susceptible to diseases (like ich). These toxins can also permanently damage their organs, and prolongued exposure or very high readings of these toxins can cause death!

If it is NitrAtes you meant, these are normal in a tank, but you have to keep the reading of these low also, by doing weekly water changes. Most people aim for NitrAtes of 10-20, but there are people who can keep them even higher than that if they have heavily planted tanks. The plants will use these Nitrates as food!
