I have been noticing these white spots appearing on my driftwood and on my Java Fern.  I did a little research and the only thing I could come up with was that they are eggs from my Nerite Snails.  But I also read that Nerites don't breed in freshwater so I'm stumped.  Any ideas?  My water parameters are perfect and all of my fish appear healthy.  If any other details are needed please ask.  Here is a picture of the spots on some driftwood.  Thanks!

My nerites have made 10 times that on my wood, it's hard to get off. Like me you are lucky it's on there and not on glass. Nerites will produce eggs in freshwater but they won't hatch

Def Nerite snail eggs, they will remain there for a hundred life times

, I had to individually scrape them off my bogwood with the point of a knife they stick so well, they also like laying their eggs on the glass of your tank usually in the corners, on and around filters and heaters, got shot of mine as I found them so unsightly.

Thanks to all for the replies. I can't wait to explain infertile snail eggs to my 5-yr old who keeps asking what those white dots are!! Lol
