Now thies "spots" are on the bogwood, some of the rocks and there are a few on the tank glass, from time to time, the ones on the glass seam to dissapere or show up overnight almost.
does anyone happen to know what causes them?

Woah, weird.
Look like little limpit creatures.
No idea, what they are, sorry.

when you look at them threw the glass from the outside of the tank, they do give the impresion of having "somthing" inside it,but no ways can i get a pic, just to small, each"spot"is about 1-1.5 mm long.

What fish have you got because they look like eggs to me...

it is a tropical comunity tank, but i can asure you they are not fish eggs, i have had them for about 8 months in 3 diffrent tanks, they are atached to the bogwood/rocks/glass with super glue, extreamly difficult to get off what ever they are.

yep these are snail eggs

they will lay eggs but wont hatch in freshwater

i have read in other posts that these are very hard to remove

Hard is a understatment,
but thankyou everyone for your help!!!!

Good luck removing them!! I had to remove my bogwood when this happened. They're just too hard to remove. You can't scrub them off, no matter how hard you try. I could only remove them using a knife, but it's very very time consuming.

I've never seen this and i work in an lfs with hundreds of nerites, so out of interest what species do you have?

Ah I have finally found the answer - so many customers keep asking what's on the bogwood!
