White Spots/growths Oh White Molly Tail And Fins?

Noticed after a short break that one of my White Molly fish has got some small white spots/growths on its tail and fins, any idea what it is??


Sorry forgot to say, the fish swims around for a few minutes then goes to corner of tank and is almost vertical where it will stay for up to an hour at a time.

What do the spots look like? Do they look like grains of salt? If so, it may be ich. Check out the fish emergencies section for more info on treating ich. There are plenty of threads there. It may be good to move this thread to that forum section anyway, as there are many people who may know what you've got and what to do.

No there 3 big spots/growths around 3-4 mm in size on its tail and a smaller one on its fin.

Well, then, in that case, I have no idea. You may have better luck in some of the other threads though.
