White Spot

Protozin contains copper which usually kills any invertebrate, so yes it probably will kill your snails.

Do you have anywhere to put the snails for the duration of treatment? When had whitespot I moved the snails to my quarantine tank. But as nerites are so sensitive to medication, I do a massive water change and run carbon for several days after the whitespot has gone, changing it every day, then I run some polyfilter (the expensive stuff that absorbs medication) before putting the snails back. That may be a bit over the top, but I've lost nerites once before by putting them back too soon and assuming all the med had gone.

no dont have a other tank as using a sump. so really dont no what to do

i have 3 assassins and 2 apples. guess they will die if i just put them all in a tub of warm water???

Hmmm...look at this thread: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/145136-protozin/

The last post says it's safe with snails so perhaps you can chance it.

The only other alternative is to put them in a tub of water, the bigger the better, and change the water a couple of times a day as there won't be a filter in it. Luckily it is much easier to do 100% water changes with snails than with fish. Make sure the tub has a lid as you don't want the snails climbing out. And don't feed them while they are in there.
