White Spot

Hi I'm new to all this and have had a bit of a rough time having bought fish who were contaminated by White spot have got some treatment to put in tank but it says remove carbon and zeolite filter media from the aquarium Does that mean to remove the sponge ? Please help !!!!!!!!

yes it means you need to remove carbonand zeolite sponges as they will filter out the treatment
also can you give a few more details
how old it the tank?
did you cycle it?
have you tested your water? if so post the results

then people can give more advice

Sorry not sure what happened there ! Have had tank for 6 weeks it's 36l. I have the water tested at my local aquatics centre which I'm going to do again tomorrow

Do I still leave filter running without sponges in ?

when you say six weeks, when did you add the fish?
did you cycle the tank?
what was the results of the water test?
yes leave the filter running

im guessing you have not cycled the tank before adding fish, its doubtful that the fish came contaminated with White spot
