HIya
Just need some advice. I've noticed lots of white spots on my clown loach 9 days ago, the day after I started using WS3 (smaller dose, removed carbon filter, continued with the treatment every 24hrs, changed water every 2 days before treatments) 8 days on - no change, one loach is covered in spots - they are everywhere and the fish is really suffering |(I think might die) the bigger loach not as bad still covered with spots but swimming, now also affected widow tetras, neon tetras (have noticed their fins were nipped or something)- black mollies and 3 babies are fine. No idea what else can I do - water increased to 30 degrees, took water to be checked in the aquarium shop - water perfect! So what can be wrong? How come the medicine is not working?? Any ideas??

Have you raised temp to 30 and increased aeration in the tank?

If you are only half dosing it takes longer i'm afraid.
If you think that handling the dose well so far, you could maybe go up toe 3 quarters of the dose.

I've replaced carbon filter this morning and will keep it in for 24hr.Will start white spot treatment all over again tomorrow. I think my badly affected loach has died (or must be hiding really well). Really worried about the fish...On the top of this my 2 mickey mouse platies are behavign really strange, hiding in two different parts of the tank, looking really sad (think one is pregnant, but what is the problem with the other one?)
