Just noticed on my clown loach has got white spot on his fins and body, only had him since last thursday from pets at home now the tanks is 2ft by1ft by1ft with a betta and red tail shark and 4 tetras black widow, they are all fine.So while its on loach do i take it back and then do a 50/50 water change and start the treament?

No you cant take it back.
The whole tanks wants treating anyway.
The tanks to small for clown loaches.

Turn temp up to 30, increase aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Remove black carbon if you use it.
Read instructions carefully as sometimes you have to half dose with scaless fish.

Right ive done a 30% water change and added the treatment (Protozin).Lets see how its goes on .Owe and turned the heater up to 30c as well.

Good luck.

i'm sure you will, though i thought i would mention it. you need to dose twice, with about 3-5 days between, @30c three is probably right.

let us know how it goes, best of luck

Been 3 days now can not see anymore spots but still using the treatment did another 30% water change last night looking ok but will carry on for another week or so yet.

Good luck.
