hi, i have lost a couple of fish to white spot/itch and have purchaced the interpet treatment. my quetion is, the instructions say to remove my carbon before adding the treament but does not tell me when to put it back. i am also affriad it might un-cycle my tank, and we all know what that means   can someone let me know what to do and what should i do with the filter carbon while out of the tank, thanks in advance :good:

Before treating, up temperature to 28-30C, once the white spotes have fell off fish, start treatment (do a 40% waterchange before treating as well)...

You can put carbon back in after the treatment is finished..

When using the treatment, make sure you add some tank water to a bowl and mix the medication up in the water, then add to tank, spread it evenly over the tanks surface :)

well carbon is not really needed, unless you want to remove meds.
removing it will not start a cycle.

if possible raise the temp to 28-30 if fish can take it, that will help get rid of whitespot.

Hi there I used ESHA Exit white spot treatment without removing anything as advise by my local shop within 3 days spots gone

Heat treatment works just as effective as meds. A temp. of 83F will effectively rid your tank of Ich as soon as the parasites hatch off the fish.
